The Firm can offer legal assistance to all participants in the property development process, advising on the acquisition of real estate for an investment, and on investments already in progress. In order to ensure the safety of a transaction, we analyse legal status and also examine the options for developing a real estate with a view to achieving the envisaged investment goal.

We assist with steps taken by investors to bring about the adoption or amendment of the local zoning plan and to obtain planning permission or a decision regarding the location of a public project.

We advise on the procedure to obtain construction permits and all other administrative documents of key relevance to that process, such as: decisions laying down environmental conditions, approval for the implementation of a venture, or decisions changing the designated use of land. We represent clients in administrative proceedings as well as before administrative courts.

We draw up, or are asked to analyse, drafts of agreements connected with the property development process, which are mostly contracts for construction works, and include contracts for the general execution of the investment, contracts regarding investment substitution, exercising of an investor's supervision, construction site management, and specialist construction issues. If necessary we also work using international FIDIC and ICC agreement models. When structuring contracts we take care to make sure that the Client is secured as a participant in the property development process. With respect to contracts for the overall execution of works, we take care to ensure that legal relationships and the question of liability are properly regulated - and this relates also to subcontractors used in the course of an investment. We represent Clients during negotiations of contractual terms and conditions and with respect to the enforcement of the negotiated provisions.

Using our experience in the field of intellectual property law, we draw up or issue opinions on contracts for design works and the author's supervision with regard to architectural and construction designs, or contracts for the sale of ready-made designs, paying particular attention to proper regulation of copyright issues.

We represent Clients in court disputes arising during the property development process.
