The lodging of appeals against resolutions of joint stock company governing bodies was the next subject of the expert panel in the THINKING AHEAD series of meetings organised by Krawczyk & Partners legal offices. The meeting was held on Thursday, 11th February at 14:30 in the conference room of Krawczyk & Partners.
Managers of public companies had the opportunity to review, among other aspects, the causes of defects in resolutions passed by general meetings of shareholders. They could have also found out in what cases the members of a company's governing bodies should lodge an appeal against a resolution of the management board or supervisory board. During the meeting there was a presentation of the instruments used to protect the assets of a company against unjustified claims lodged against resolutions of the company's governing bodies.
The meeting was chaired by Andrew Chrzanowski, lawyer and partner at Krawczyk & Partners, specialising in litigation, corporate law and contract law, Anna Zeliaś, a lawyer from the financial law team at Krawczyk & Partners, with extensive experience in corporate affairs, including disputes over a company's internal relationships.
